¡¡NEW DRUGSTORE MAKEUP!!

Haven't purchased any makeup for awhile now, so in the last few days I have been doing some shopping and boy have I pick up a lot of makeup goodies!! All of my MILANI products I got at my local Walgreens and the best part they were all on sale. FYI you can get most this stuff off of cherryculture.com for incredible prices, ((except for the ELF, and  RIMMEL items)) I just sometimes don't like to wait for the shipping. I have been on this peachy coral and purple violet kick and you will see that through out.

((I DID NOT ADD PRICES, DUE TO FACT MOST OF THIS STUFF WAS ON SALE AND DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THAT WILL LAST,, AND PRICES CHANGE FROM PLACE TO PLACE))

MILANI has been coming out with a lot of new products and the ones I am really enjoying are the blushes, they are super pigmented, feel great on the skin and blend nice and easy. I say proudly I have officially collected all there blushes. Their previous blushes have a hint of sparkle/glitter to them, but they have 2 new baked blushes that are completely matte. They are so super pigmented that just dabbing your blush brush into the product is all you need, for both cheeks. DELIZIOSO PINK is this very beautiful bright baby doll pink, and BELLA ROSA is a dark almost red pink, both would go great with any skin tone.

((left to right))
DELIZIOSO PINK BAKED POWDER BLUSH (matte)
BELLA ROSA BAKED POWDER BLUSH (matte)
BERRY AMORE BAKED POWDER BLUSH
EVEN TOUCH POWDER FOUNDATION IN 09 NATURAL TAN

Another great new product they have released is the powder blushes, these got my attention because of the beautiful rose detail on them.
LADY ROUGE 06 is the color I picked up I am thinking about going back to pick up a few more of these, MILANI did not disappoint on this product just like their baked blushes the pigmentation on these babies is awesome. Have to admit I don't want to use it, cause it's just so darn cute.

01 NUDE
Thanks to emilynoel83 on youtube, or beautybroadcast on blogger, she mentioned this on her emilyawards and the best drugstore eyeshadow primer. I must say this is a great buy, usually I use my urban decay primer potion or MAC painterly paint pot and both can get pricey. So it's nice to have a drugstore primer that works and wont run your wallet. Eye shadows just stick to the primer so nicely, eye shadows are more vibrant, if you have dark pigmented lids this almost brings that down since it does have a slight tint to it, and they shadows don't crease through out the day. I wear my makeup for almost 12/16 hours a day for work, and have really oily lids and don't see creasing after a long day. I have tried it with different brand eye shadows, from drug store to high end, and no creasing on either.

Lips, I am a big lipstick junkie along with blushes so I was very excited to try the MILANI lipsticks. Can't say for sure if this is new to there makeup line, but they are new to me. Love that they such and array of colors and finishes. Again really pigmented lipsticks you can just apply a bit for a hint of color and top it off with some lip gloss or really apply it to the lips for a bold look. They glide on to your lips even the matte colors, this is nice because even the most high end matte lipsticks can tug on your lips.

((left to right))
15 HOT PINK RAGE (matte)
21 SANGRIA (matte)
14 ROSE HIP (cream)
11 FRUIT PUNCH (cream)

003 STAY MATTE PRIMER
300 SAND STAY MATTE FOUNDATION
Like I said a little bit ago, I have combination skin normal to oily, REALLY oily especially in my T-Zone, so finding a foundation to work for me can be hard. I have tried so many and one that does work is RIMMEL MATCH PERFECTION, so when I saw the display for this one I had to try it since it does say STAY MATTE. Also picked up the primer for it hopefully the combination of the to keeps my T-Zone under control. It's almost like a whipped foundation but in a tube, need to be careful around your nose area if apply to much it can look cakey.

Lip glosses is something that I am not a "big" fan of but do like. MILANI has the LIP INTENSE LIQUID COLOR ((oval flat tube)) they are out of this world the color is true to the tube, unlike other that look so intense in the packaging and when you go to apply them they are so sheer. The BRILLIANT SHINE LIP GLOSS ((square tube)) really nice shine maybe not so pigmented but still really good color pay off.
04 VIOLET ADDICT LIP INTENSE LIQUID COLOR
02 PINK RAVE LIP INTENSE LIQUID COLOR
10 CORAL CRUSH BRILLIANT SHINE LIP GLOSS
05 BERRY TEMPTING BRILLIANT SHINE LIP GLOSS

Keeping on with the lip love, I picked up 2 of the ELF LIP BALM TINT. ELF is that one brand that no mater how inexpensive there products are 9 times out 10 they give so much bang for your buck. Unlike some the high end cosmetics!!
22133 GRAPEFRUIT LIP BALM TINT
22134 BERRY LIP BALM TINT

Last but not least finally got my hands on some NYX cosmetics, and I ask myself why didn't I try these products before. I only got a few eye shadows, but I am definitely going to look more into this line and get some more stuff from them.
ES138 PINE NUT
ES160 AFRICA
ES05 BROWN

Hope you guys enjoyed my makeup haul, I am so excited to start trying out all the goodies. If there is anything you would like a full review on just comment below and let me know. FYI I purchased all of these products on my own with my own money, and the hubby's money as well LOL.

Shop my Stach Sunday

Here we are with another SMSS ((shop my stach sundays)) well for this week I'm not going to be wearing much makeup because guess what....I GOT PINK EYE...gross I know. So like you should already know, you must, no you have to throw out any makeup that has come in contact with your eye. I have to say good bye to one of my MAC eyeliners, all I have to say is thank goodness it was at the end of its eye liner life. Of course a few mascaras not to sad about those either there from JORDANA they are less the 3 bucks each. But like I was saying its very important you don't keep this makeup around because you could infect your eyes again.

Once the pink eye is gone then I will be back to my daily routine, even though I'm still going to use procation and use older eye makeup that wont hurt to throw away. That will be a challange all  on its own...THROW AWAY MAKEUP,, NNNNOOOOOO!! I had to really go digging for that older makeup sitting somewhere in the back/bottom.

♡ GROWING OUT MY HAIR ♡

If there is one thing I love to do is try new things for my hair. Different hair colors, cut, and styles...but with all of this there is a great price to pay...MAJOR HAIR DAMAGE!! I have done everything to my hair perms, short hair, long hair, black, brown, red, and even pink, yes I said PINK. ((That will be a story for another day.)) I had an A LINE cut for awhile, but recently I got a cut something between a bob and a long pixie. ¡¡I HATE IT!! I have a very round chubby face and this cut just makes it worse!! I have never had a problem growing out my hair; it would grow out fast, shinny, healthy and very thick. But now I can't get it to grow for the life of me...now I have set myself out on making my hair grow. ((FYI my hair was all the way down to my belt line...Ooohhhhh how I miss my hair)) Anyways,, I am going to do some of the things I did before along with some new stuff I have researched. Hopefully I can start to see some growth...if not im going bald!!! J/K but no really my hair needs to start growing if not im going to drive myself crazy!!!
Here is a picture of how my hair is currently and how I would like to have it for my birthday...which is in July...that gives me 5 months of intense hair care repair. The picture on the right was taken just about a year ago and that is my goal.

I also want to show you what I have put my hair thru since October of 2012. When I decided to go blonde, God knows for what reason, that is when my hair got really damaged and brittle. The ends of my hair would just snap off, I had split ends beyond believe, the best way I can explain is as if they where gummy...IT WAS HORRIBLE!! Also I felt my hair lost all of its naturel moisture. ((My hair has still not recovered from that CRAZY idea of mine.)) With my hair going thru all that craziness thats when I decided to cut it short and since then my hair does not grow any longer then mid neck.   :'(

As you can see I have done a lot, and since it didn't get like this in a week or a month I am very well awear it's going to take time to get it back to the way it use to be. I also want to add that I have put my hair thru A LOT, of heat damage. When you have a short hair cut and have wavy frizzy hair the most common thing to do to tame it is to use a flat iron...and I'm so bad at not adding heat protector...but not anymore learn that lesson the hard way , I have seen first hand the damage that will do to your hair.

First I did have to go for a hair cut, I hate it but I had to do it. Have to cut of all those split ends. So girls if you need to go get "THE CUT" remember it will all be worth it in the end. Washing your hair everyday can also affect your hair not just in the growth part but in its shine, body, volume, and moisture see your not giving your hair time to work in its natural oils. Washing your hair every 2/3 days is ideal, if your hair gets oily really fast use dry shampoo. ((TIP: apply dry shampoo before bed, this way you can really work it into your hair and not have to worry about looking like you have baby powder on your head.)) Next you have to choose a good shampoo and conditioner, this is vital to keeping your hair healthy. I have taken the option of using 2 different shampoos and 2 different conditioners, that way I can alternate between the two.

I was previously using the L'oreal Total Repair 5 shampoo/conditioner and the damage balm...it had clamied to restore up to 1 year of damage in one use...it did nothing for my hair.

My first set of shampoo and conditioner is the MANE 'n TAIL set. I had a few friends and family recomend this to me, so I looked it up on youtube and sure enough it has some really good reviews. What I like about these is that they each have a different purpose for your hair unlike other shampoos and conditioners. The shampoo claims to get your hair shinny, silky, and manageable. While the conditioner claims it will get you thicker healthier hair.
They don't claim to make your hair grow, but I think since its doing so much for your hair already I guess its an added bonus.
((I haven't tried them yet, but once I have had some time to really use them and see if there is any change in my hair I will update you guys.))

One thing I'm going back to is and shampoo and conditioner I use to use from Herbal Essences it's from LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP line. I used this all the time when I had my long hair. I would sometimes get this shampoo and a different conditioner, I personally love this brand, great products and they amazing!! Not much to say I mean the name said it all. MANE 'n TALE is going to be my main shampoo/conditioner like I said "I'm going to go back and forth between these 2 sets."
((Only reason I'm doing this is because the MANE 'n TALE set doesn't smell all that nice.))

Coconut Oil is another thing I have heard does great things for your hair like; restoring much needed moisture, brings that shine back to your hair, gives it silky smoothness.  You can apply it freely to your hair then wrap your hair in a plastic bag, a shower cap is also good. You can go at it 2 ways; 1 use a blow drier on warm heat for about 15/20 minutes to speed things up if your in a hurry. Or 2 the way I like to go about is just leave it in for about an hour, while I clean my house...LOL. I do this once or twice a week. It's also great for your skin, especially if you have dry, careful if you have oily skin don't want to apply to much.

Vitamins are a great help not just for your hair, but all around. This is another thing I'm going back to. My choice is either biotin, or Evening PrimRose Oil, biotion you have all heard about, but Evening PrimRose Oil is not talked about much and you would be suprised in all the things it helps you in starting with menopause, pms, eczema, arthritis, etc. and of course it helps with hair growth and hair loss.

You can also use Prenatal vitamins, those work just as well if not better, I used to take these a few years ago. Be careful though prenatals can make you retain water, remember they are intended for pregnant women and when pregnant you need to conserve everything to nutrish yourself and the baby. But like I said they do work, I have heard you can crush them and place them in your shampoo bottle. Can't say much more on that because have not tried that method.

There is a few last things you can/need to do in the process of growing out your hair. Try not to apply to many products to your hair, I usually apply leave in conditioner and thats all. Unless I am using heat then I apply a heat protecting spray. My goal is to only use styling tools once or twice a week, no more. Its going to be hard since my hair is so short, but I want my hair as healthy as possible. Don't brush your hair while wet, if you must because your hair gets realky tangled...PLEASE, PLEASE, use a wide tooth comb, you don't want to be snapping your hair off. Getting a hair cut every 6-8 weeks is a great idea that way you can keep those split ends off. Remember to drink lots of water, eat healthy, and stay away from greasy food.

Incase you would like to know I got all my stuff at my local Walmart. I don't think I spend more than $35 for everything. Lets see if its $35 well spend, I will do an update in a month or so and see where I'm at.

EASY DIY DETOX WATER

A great thing to do before starting any diet or weight loss plan is to start from the inside out. A cleanse or detox is the way to go. It will flush out all the toxins and impurities from your system. This at home do it yourself detox water is great, gets the work done and it's really inexpensive. These items can be found in your fridge right now. I will take you step by step, promise it wont take you more then 5 minutes to make....
LETS GET STARTED!!

You will need the following ingredients:
2 Yellow Lemons
1 Green Lime
1/2 Cucumber
10-12 Mint Leafs
3 quarts of Water

Make sure you wash everything really well because we will be leaving all the skins. The skins stay on, because believe it or not the most important nutrients can be found here.

Cut off the ends to the lemons, the lime and the cucumbers, know slice away. Please be careful and don't cut your lovely fingers. With the mint leafs just snap them off at the stems. Once your done you should have something like this.

Pour all your ingredients into your pitcher with water and mix with a large spoon. After place in your refrigerator over night, in the morning you will have a great tasting detoxing water. The best thing is it only cost you around $4.00 The 3 quarts should last for about 2 to 3 days, it all depends on how much you want to drink through out the day. THE MORE THE BETTER GIRLIES!!! Make sure that you also drink natural along with your detox water. Another tip for you is that you can pour into smaller water bottles and take it with to work, school, or when you have to run around town.

The detoxing water should be taken from 10 to 15 days. You can make this work for you even more if  you just stick to fruits and veggies. I like to take it a step further and do strictly fluids with my detox, this is something you need to speak to your doctor before doing especially if you have medical problems.

Hope this is helpful and that you try it out.

♥♥ SELF WORTH, SELF LOVE, SELF CONFIDENCE, SELF ACCEPTANCE ♥♥

Going far back as I can remember I have always  been on the thicker, curvier side. I always like my body growing up, even though I was a pant size or few bigger then my friends. Thru out high school I would stay at the avarage weight for me, since I was 5'5", was around 154/160lbs. ((FYI I have all ways had large breast and I blame 8lbs of my weight on them LOL)) Being at that good healthy avarage weight; my mother would be after me contantly telling me, "dont eat this, dont eat that, your gonna get fat." or "You need to go on a diet mija, you need to loose weight look you're getting "llantitas" in other words love handles." I know she ment well put in a way it traumatised me, that when I got married and moved out I WENT CRAZY. I would eat what I wanted, when I wanted, and no one could tell me different.

After 3 years of marriage and 120lbs later; It was not just the food I was stuffing myself with that was making gain the weight, but the emotional roller coster I was going thru. ((Hence the term emotinal eating)) I was going thru a real tuff time in my life depresion was playing a big role. Here I was 23/24 years old ((I got married when I was 19)) 3 years married and I am trying to get pregnant, to save a marriage that was going no where fast. Because of the all weight I had gained I was having really big issues with my menstrual cycles, I wasn't ovulating correctly. My doctor decided to put me on hormone pills, and I think that was another big factor to my weight gain.

((Sorry, I am going on so long, but just want you guys to have a some insight on my story. Beacuse I know there has to be more then one of you out there that can relate.))

My husband was no help either, he would always find ways to put me down. I can still remember one Sunday we where getting for morning service at our church. I had bought myself a really nice dress I was so excited, come out from our bedroom and ask him, like every wife asks her husband, "how do I look" never thought I would regret those words. He simply turned around looked at me and said, "LIKE A BARREL WITH A DRESS ON." That day what ever was left of my spirits and self esteem came crashing down. The months following that incident, I would eat my feelings away. Once my husband would fall asleep, I would sneek into the kitchen and eat what ever was in the cabinets, refrigerator, and pantry. During the day I wouldn't eat around him because his comments would be, "YOUR GONNA EAT ALL THAT!!, or DAMN HONEY YOU EAT MORE THAN I DO!!" Binging at night was my only way out or atleast thats what I thought.

On a regular trip to my doctors office I got enough courage to get on the scale...282lbs, I wanted to cry, wanted to yell. I was so mad at myself, I was mad at my husband. My doctor told me look you still have a chance to fix this, you dont have any mayor medical issues like: high blood pressure, diabetis, high cholesterol, etc, with diet and exercise you can fix this. Those where the words I needed to light a fire under my @$$. I started eating healthy working out everyday for about an hour and 45 minutes, I was feeling so much better. I had stopped the hormone trearment because I had decided I had enough with the mental/emotinal abuse from my husband and then out of no where with out knowing I became pregnant. Unfortunately I had a misscarrage beacuse I didn't know I had concived and continued to workout hard like I always did and well, GOD does things for a reason.

After 6 months of working out and eating healthy I lost a total of 57lbs, I was at 225 the lowest I had been in 5 years. My confidence and self esteem came back up, I learn the hard way that no one, absolutely NO ONE gives you your self worth other then yourself. You can not expect some to love you and value you for the person that you are, if you can't even look at yourself in the mirror. That love for own yourself has to come from with in, even if you're 10, 20, 50, or even 100 pounds overweight. Don't look for acceptance in others, you must accept yourself first. Be comfortable in your skin it's the only one you got anyways. If you are not happy with the way you look, you can fix it, the only thing is you really have to work for it and that is where the problem is you're not going to loose weight the same way you put it on quick an easy. Nope, it is going to take you double even triple the amount of time but in the long run it will be life changing. Don't go try this diet plan, or that diet supplement, and a so called diet pill your friends, friends told you about. Don't get me wrong they might work but its going to be temporary fix only, because you are dependent on that product and not changing the way you eat, the way you excersie and the way you run your life in general.

I eventually filed for divorce,  I then understood why GOD needed my little angel up in heaven more than I did here. My whole life changed around with that one decision I made, had confidence to got myself a job, and with in year I got a mayor promotion. There is one thing I must admit since having my new position I have been under a lot stress and don't really have time sit down and eat like a normal person and fast food has been the wrong way to go, I will admit it bad choices, haven't even gone to the gym. Haven't worked out in about 5 months :-( really bad I know. I have gain 14-16lbs back, BUT myself esteem is still high I still feel good about myself. Well some mornings not so much especially when my pants aren't fitting...LOL!! Its ok because I tell myself "IF I DID IT ONCE I CAN DO IT AGAIN!!" I am kick off my weight loss journey tomorrow Monday, January 20th., I am hoping that in 7 month for birthday on July 20th I have dropped 60lbs an avarage of 8-10lbs every month, it's achivable. Remember set goals you can reach don't say something 30lbs in a month thats not health, then when you don't achive it you discouraged. Slow and steady will get you better life term results. I am at 250 lbs as we speak tomorrow morning I will step on the scale and take a picture. I will post more on my entire weightloss plan tomorrow.

"IM NOT A PRO, I JUST KNOW I DID IT ONCE AND IT WORKED FOR ME HOPEFULLY IT WILL WORK FOR YOU AS WELL. IF YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL ISSUES PLEASE SEE A DOCTOR BEFORE STARTING AND WEIGHTLOSS, DIET, AND EXERSICE PROGRAM."

Stay safe and healthy,
See you on the next one!!!

In the zebra cardigan I was weighing in around 260/265lbs, in the middle I was at 245, and when I finally hit 225lbs.
Picture on the right was at my heaviest weight ever, 282lbs. On the left is when I started to gain some pounds back, there I was 233/236lbs.
((FYI that is my new boyfriend))
